DisplayMate for Windows can be run directly from the CD.
No installation is necessary.

To install DisplayMate for Windows on your hard disk:

1. Run the Install program:
Click the Start button and select Run.
When the Run dialog box appears, type the following:

			x:\install.exe

where "x" is the drive letter of the CD drive containing the DisplayMate CD,
generally "d" or a higher letter if you have more drives.

Choose the OK button or press <Enter>.

2. After a few seconds the DisplayMate Installation program
will display an introductory screen. Select the OK button.

3. Next, you will see the Folder / Path Selection dialog box. There you need
to specify where you would like the DisplayMate files installed.

The default is "c:\dmw". To accept this, select the OK button.
Otherwise, edit the entry and select the OK button when you are done.
Note: Because DisplayMate is designed to run on all versions of Windows,
no long file names or spaces are permitted for the directory or folder name.

4. A bar graph will show the progress of the installation.

5. Finally, you are given the choice of reading the ReadMe documentation
file, which contains important information about running DisplayMate.
You can print it by selecting the File menu and choosing the Print option.

When the installation procedure is completed, you will have a DisplayMate
Folder and Program Group.

To run DisplayMate simply press the Start button, select Programs, next the
DisplayMate Folder, and then the DisplayMate icon.

Alternatively, directly open the DisplayMate Folder or Program Group and
